Dr. Badman is a highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon with a specialized focus on shoulder disorders. A native of South Bend, Indiana, he pursued his undergraduate and medical education at Indiana University. In 2005, he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida-Gainesville, followed by an intensive shoulder and elbow fellowship in 2006 at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa. His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of procedures, including total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic labral repair, arthroscopic bicep tenodesis, tendon transfers (lower trapezius), and fracture-related shoulder care.

He serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Orthopedic Trauma and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles on various shoulder and elbow conditions.
