Nicole Jarboe, LPN
Nicole has been a member of Dr. Badman’s orthopedic team since July 2011. Nicole attended Winona State University and Minneapolis Technical College with a degree Practical Nursing. Nicole is responsible for all surgery coordination and Dr. Badman’s schedule, but also assists in general patient care. She enjoys working with patients and assisting them in their recovery after surgery or an injury.
Brad Crackel, ATC, OTC
Brad has been a member of Dr. Badman's orthopedic team since April of 2012. Brad earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Indiana State University in 2001. He started his career in orthopedics serving as the head athletic trainer at Terre Haute South High School for six years. Brad transitioned to the orthopedic office setting in 2007. He has been fortunate to work with physicians from several specialties including non-operative sports medicine, podiatry, spine surgery, hand surgery and general orthopedic surgery. Besides general patient care, Brad handles the casting/splinting/bracing duties and implements home exercise programs. He truly enjoys working with orthopedic patients, and helping restore their function and mobility. In his free time, Brad enjoys staying active by running, biking, and playing recreational sports.
Jenna Nowlin, PA-C
Jenna Nowlin is an Indiana native where she was born and raised in Avon, Indiana. She went on to become a Boilermaker where she received her degree in Health Sciences and Pre-Physician Assistant Studies. While in college, she was an active third-shift Certified Nurse Assistant at a long term care facility earning hours to apply to PA school and embark upon her dream career in medicine. She proudly achieved her name on the Dean's List every year and was an active member in many different academic societies.
From Purdue, she went on to attend Harding University in Arkansas where she earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. This is also where she met her husband, who was a Physical Therapy student. After getting married, she continued to migrate south and worked in Texas for a primary pediatric office. She was here for three years developing and expanding her knowledge. However, with the arrival of their first son, they decided to move closer to Jenna's family.
Once back in Indiana, she developed a passion for orthopedics and worked at Riley Hospital with the Pediatric Orthopedic group for two years. Still, she was anxious to get in the operating room and grow in her career. Jenna ultimately joined American Health Network in the summer of 2018. She works with Dr.Brian Badman who specializes in shoulder and elbow reconstruction. Jenna assists in surgery, helps with postoperative care, and also evaluates and treats patients in the clinical setting.
In her free time, you will find Jenna spending time with her family, going on vacations, exercising, or whipping something up in the kitchen. She and her husband desire to eventually see and explore all of the 7 world wonders.
Heather Seib, Certified Surgical Technologist
Heather has been a member of Dr. Badman's orthopedic team since December 2019. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology from Ivy Tech Community College in 2015. She will graduate from University of Indianapolis with her Bachelors of Science degree in Liberal Studies, with a focus on patient advocacy, in August 2020. Prior to joining the orthopedic team, Heather had the privilege of working as a Certified Surgical Technologist on the cardiovascular and cardiothoracic transplant surgical teams at Methodist Hospital. She is responsible for scheduling Dr. Badman's surgeries as well as general patient care. She has a sincere passion for helping patients and their family members understand pre and post op procedures and helping them overcome their anxieties. In her free time, she can be found cheering for her boys at their football and baseball games.
